Summary

In Confluence Cloud if you create a page, add a title and then close it, a draft will be saved, but if you go to a space and click Blog>Create blog post and close that blog after adding some content, there will be no draft.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to a space
2. Click Blog in the sidebar
3. Click Create Blog Post
4. Add a title and a line of content
5. Click the Close button
6. No draft will appear under My Work and if you go back to the space and click Blog in the sidebar, there is no blog for the space.

Expected Results

A draft of the blog would appear under My Work for the user who created the blog

Workaround

1. Create the blog on another page and copy/paste it over to the Blog for the space
2. Publish the blog instead of closing without publishing

Note:

Confluence server 6.7 does save the blog draft when the Close button is used.
