    Description

      Hi all,

This was probably discussed already, and I also found this from a while ago -

      https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-32410

but perhaps there's a new and better way

      Using Confluence cloud 1000.0.0-fa3a2a24710

I'm looking for a way (plugin, api, etc) to auto create and populate Jira issue from Confluence.

      Scenario+Goal:

Sales person fills in a table with relevant details,

Instead of creating a Jira issue with Macro,

I wish the sales person to, for example, just click on "submit", and the Jira issue will be created with all relevant data populated to relevant fields, and linked in Confluence to Jira issue that was created. One table -> one issue.

meaning, Sales person opens a Confluence page, fills in the below data:

      Field name Field Value
      Title Some String
      Start Date Some date
      Description Some string
Custom field - Domain owner Some Assignee

Clicks on some button, let's assume "SUBMIT" at the end of the page,

and then automatically a Jira issue is opened and populated with all the relevant fields.

A link to the Jira issue added at, let's say, the bottom of the table (like when inserting a Jira issue via Macro).

      Hope I was clear

      Is it possible?

      Thanks,

      Eyal
