Summary
When using the Find&Replace feature of Confluence (CMD+Shift+H or CRTL H) if the word is inside a table, the menu to replace the word/go to the next one will be exchanged for the table menu, not allowing the user to continue the find and replace search.
Steps to Reproduce
- Click to Edit a page
- Insert a table and random words inside it, so the user can search it later
- On the page editor, either click on the magnifying glass (top of the right side) or use the CMD+Shift+H/CRTL H keyboard shortcut to search for the word inside the table
Expected Results
The Find&Replace menu should continue on the editor so the user can hit Next or Previous to go to the next/previous word.
Actual Results
The Find&Replace menu will be replaced by the table menu since the cursor is moved to the table
Notes
After having the menu replaced, if the user clicks on the word inside the table and try to use the menu of find&replace again, it will be displayed, but, the table menu will not be displayed, which can affect on editing the table content later. Attached is a video called editor.mp4 for the issue being reproduced.
Workaround
No workaround at the moment.
