Description
Unfortunately, we're unable to support preserving "hard links" when migrating between Cloud and Server at this time.
Links to Confluence content that are inserted from the clipboard (these automatically convert to reference the destination Confluence page) or from the insert link dialog should continue to work after migrating.
Summary
Migration of Confluence Cloud to Confluence Server does not support the hard links with pageID after ADG3 change in Cloud interface.
Example
Cloud:
https://hdswiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fno/pages/155451410/Copy+of+PGP+Wiki+2+Oct+18+2017\\
Server:
https://wiki.hdsglobal.com/spaces/fno/pages/155451410/Copy+of+PGP+Wiki+2+Oct+18+2017\\
We did contact the Atlassian support (CSP-217857) to help us and they suggested with the below approach
1.Search =
https://hdswiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fno/pages/
Replace =
https://wiki.hdsglobal.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=
2. Search = /Copy+of+PGP+Wiki+2+Oct+18+2017
Replace = (empty)
Result:
in Cloud :- https://hdswiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fno/pages/155451410/Copy+of+PGP+Wiki+2+Oct+18+2017\
Server :- https://wiki.hdsglobal.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=155451410
But, they are 1000+ of links within the Confluence pages. How do we address this ?
Notes
We are noticing this issue after the ADG3 change in Cloud interface. Is it possible to revert back ADG3 on this instance https://hdswiki.atlassian.net/wiki/ ?
We are currently blocked with Cloud to Server.
