      Summary

Customers performing an HTML Export of their Spaces have noticed that no Comments are being exported

      Environment

      • Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add Comments to a Confluence Page
      2. Navigate through Space Tools > Export > HTML Export > Custom Export
        • Ensure that Include Comments is Selected
      3. Select pages
      4. Export

      Expected Results

Per the selected option, Comments are Exported

      Actual Results

      No Comments are Exported

      Notes

      The Normal Export states:

Generates a HTML file for each page in this space, excluding blogs, comments, and attachments.

Not sure if this should also affect Custom HTML Exports; if so, the "Include Comments" Checkbox should be removed

      Workaround

None. If you don't mind making development effort, consider to retrieve comments via REST API and export them into the expected format (HTML, in this case).
