Description
Summary
Links to an Anchor on top of the page refresh the page when clicked instead of scrolling the page to the Anchor, when the page content contains a macro that causes the content to render inside an iframe.
How to Replicate
- In Firefox, create a page with some anchor links – e.g. there is an anchor macro at the top of the page, and links within the page content to jump back to the anchor at the top of the page
- Add a macro that would cause the page content to render inside an iframe (e.g. activity stream macro)
- When viewing the page, click on one of the links to jump to the anchor at the top of the page
Expected Result
You are navigated to top of the page where the anchor is placed.
Note
This behavior will be reproducible in all browsers.
Actual Results
The page is reloaded.
Workaround:
Open the links in a new tab (use the middle-click on your mouse if you have a three-button mouse, ctrl-click on Windows/Unix, or cmd-click on Mac.) and they should redirect you to the correct anchor.
