Problem Definition
Customers who are using the Mobile App will receive multiple notifications when changes are made within their instance; one in the Mobile App and a second via Email
Suggested Solution
If a User is active in the Mobile app, suppress Email Notifications.
For example: If the user's has recently been in the Mobile App, send an In-App notification and then after a configured timeout send an Email, or suppress the email if they responded/actioned in app
