Description
Summary
Incorrect behaviour when a child's page restriction is changed due to granting access to a user.
Steps to Reproduce
- There are 2 users, User A and User B.
- Create 2 pages; a parent page and a child page, Page A and Page B respectively.
- Restriction on Page A is such that only User A has access.
- There are no restrictions on Page B.
- User B requests access on Page B; an email is sent to the Confluence admin.
- The Confluence admin grants access to User B.
Expected Results
User B should not be able to access Page B as the parent's (Page A) restrictions prohibits it. User A should still have access to Page B.
Actual Results
- The restriction on Page B changes from unrestricted to allow access to only User B.
- User B still cannot access Page B as the parent page disallows it. However, User A has no access to Page B.
This is an issue as all users who had access to a child page are now disallowed.
