Summary

Confluence Editor allows user to place line break within list only when the page is newly created.

Environment

• Confluence New Look and Feel (ADG3)
  • Verified with Confluence 1000.0.0-794c0b1

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start creating new page
2. Place bullet list and add items like "Foo" and "Bar"
3. Confirm that you can delete heading bullet with keeping line break if you put new line right after the "Foo"
4. Publish the page
5. Start editing the page
6. Confirm that now line break disappears together with the bullet by the same operation

Expected Results

Heading bullet is supposed to be deletable with keeping line break.

Actual Results

It's unable to let line break remain.

Notes

• This occurs to the both style of bullet list <ul> and numbered list <li>

Workaround

• Insert line breaks within list items using Shift + Enter, but only if the item starts with text. Put another way, you can't start a list item with a line break.
