Summary

The Meeting Notes template available in Confluence has a date picker lozenge that behaves differently than the date picker available for end-users. When creating a page using the template, the picker pulls the current date. But when creating a template using the same date picker and using it to create a new page, the default date that will be shown will be the date when the template was created.

Environment

Cloud - Confluence 1000.1465.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a template using the date picker lozenge
2. Try to use the template after a few days
3. The date picker will show by default the same date when the template was created

Expected Results

The date picker should show the current date.

Actual Results

The date picker will show by default the same date when the template was created

Workaround

Modify the original template (taking extra care to not remove the picker) while doing so.
