Reordering pages doesn't work properly

When reordering pages in Space Admin > Pages the list behaves weirdly when trying to reorder pages. It looks like a moved page exists both in the placed it was moved from and the place it was moved to. On occasion the page titles you are trying to move get stuck in the middle of the screen.
