Summary

• Unable to remove/add Page Restrictions to a page.

Environment

• Cloud - Confluence 1000.878.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. Access a page that contains child pages.
2. Try to remove or add page restrictions
3. Noticed that the page will hang after applying the changes and will display an error "There was an error submitting the page restrictions".

Expected Results

• Page restrictions should successfully take place

Actual Results

It fails with error "There was an error submitting the page restrictions".

Workaround

Apply restrictions to child pages instead of the top of the page tree. If a child has a lot of further child pages, you'll need to dig deeper down the chain until it works.

Alternatively, job will finish on it's own. Leave the page open for a while (how long depends on the amount of content), and navigate back to page. Restrictions will eventually be applied.
