When embedding Google Documents in Confluence, even that the same is public Confluence will prompt users to authenticate.
- Make sure to have a Google document on the drive (https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/my-drive)
- Make sure to have the Google Drive add-on for Confluence installed
- On the Google side, either have the document Public on the Web (Anyone on the internet can find and access) or Anyone with the Link link sharing configured
- Try to have access without using a Google account or any Confluence account
Be able to view the document as an anonymous user or without any kind of authentication
Confluence will prompt user to authenticate in a Google account in order to see the document
There is no workaround at the moment
