JIRA Issue Macro will not show if the Epic Link contains '&'

      Summary

      If the JIRA Issue Macro results contain an Epic Link that has '&' and you wanted to display any custom field. The JIRA issue Macro will not show the list of issues on the page

      Environment

      Confluence 1000.907.0
      JIRA v1000.718.3

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Insert the JIRA Issues macro onto your Confluence page
      2. Enter the JQL query or filter into the Search box. (Make sure that the JQL Query contains and Epic Link Result that has '&')
      3. Choose Display options, to display any Custom Field
      4. Choose Insert

      Expected Results

      • It should display a list of issues on your page, based on a JIRA Query Language (JQL) search or filter.

      Actual Results

      • The JIRA issue Macro will not show the list of issues on the page.
        Data cannot be retrieved due to an unexpected error
        
      • Confluence Logs will show
        java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.IOException: Error on line 892: The entity name must immediately follow the '&' in the entity reference.
