Summary

Additional side bar is created when using Page Up (Pg UP) or Page Down (Dn) in Chrome

Environment

• Linux (Mint 17.3 64-bit)
• Chrome 56.0.2924.87
• Confluence Cloud: 1000.1002.3

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log into instance
2. Navigate to Confluence Page
3. Edit Page
4. Hit Page Up and Page Down

Expected Results

Nothing additional when using page up or page down. Editor formatting should stay the same

Actual Results

Side bar is created with no text or added functionality. Indents the editor making certain tasks more difficult

Notes

• Tested in Linux. Was not able to reproduce this in FF or Safari. Seems to be related to Linux Mint although report have been made for Windows 7
• Browser Inspect does not reveal any related errors

Workaround

None at this time. Use either Firefox or Safari as a workaround
