Performance - very slow adding new events

      Very slow performance adding new events to calendars, we have a simple holiday calendar with 15 events per day (US holidays). Adding a single event is taking 30-45 seconds per event.

      We also have a larger calendar that has 3000 events and it's even slower. I know there are several performance tickets open on TC's. Can you guys define the roadmap and plans to address the performance issues?
