Can't create new calendar in confluence 5.8.14

      Clicking on "calendars" from confluence nav bar, im getting this "$calendarHtml" on the page. Im also not able to click on add new calendar. nothing happens.
      Im running latest version of confluence and the calendar plugin.
      This is on a hosted private server environment.
