      Confluence has a {quote} macro, but as everyone knows from email, the correct way to quote text is with '>'s

      This would be of particular use in JIRA, where we could have a Bugzilla-like 'quote this comment' link inserting >-prefixed comments, which would look acceptable in both text and html email notifications.
