Confluence Feature to include link to XML files with XSL transformation in HTML Include Macro

      STEP TO REPLICATE

      1. Create a new page in Confluence.
      2. Insert HTML Include Macro.
      3. Insert the link to external XML file with XSL transformation.
      4. Save the page.

       

      EXPECTED RESULT

      Confluence will display the file.

       

      ACTUAL RESULT

      An ERROR message appear in the mcro preview:

      Unable to retrieve <<URL-TO-THE-XmlFile.xml>> - The page can not be found.

       

      NOTE

      Confluence HTML Include Macro haven't support the feature to render links to an external XML file containing XSL transformation. Therefore, it would be much convenience if we could have this feature implemented in the future release.
