NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

With our Confluence users linking to LDAP, it is difficult having to create and delete groups to control permissions.

Whilst it is great having permission controls for each space, this can be a nightmare going through each one to control individual users and having a list the length of my arm to constantly monitor this. We don't want all users having the ability to create, modify and view every page. It would be great if you can view the users profile within User Management to control what spaces they can and can't access and edit (As shown below).

      Please consider this suggestion.

[CONFCLOUD-45194] User Management - Space View and Edit Control

Looks like this suggestion is a couple years old, but I hope it can be considered. We often have new employees who do not fit into particular groups, so we have to go space by space to manage permissions and there are multiple steps and clicks to add and adjust specific permissions in each case, which inevitably leads to error and confusion. Being able to control permissions from the user's page would be extremely helpful.

We would also benefit from such feature. From a security level this would be a great idea as we are currently evaluating the level of security at our company. Although it is ok at the moment, there is certainly room for improvement for those companies who do want to protect certain areas.
