Tables/wiki markup pasted in bevior

Summary

Pasting markup directly into the Confluence Cloud text editor does not work as expected.

Steps to replicate

1. Create a new page (using old editor)
2. Paste table markup

Expected results

The markup is correctly converted to tables

Actual results

The markup is not recognized.

Workaround

Manually insert the markup when needed

Notes

If we place the cursor right at the end of each column or row, pressing return converts the markup. However, it does not convert all pasted content, only what was directly behind the cursor.
It is not possible to join the broken parts of the table.

Hello. We are using Confluence 5.9.10. We have an example page that is built of sections, screenshot of this page is attached. You cannot copy and paste tables from section to section. Multi-line tables pasted in from wiki markup do not convert properly (middle section). You cannot join split tables (right section). These were not problems when we could edit wiki markup. We'd simply go into the markup, edit it, fix what was formatted incorrectly, done. I would appreciate if you tried duplicating what we're trying to do and either make a feature request to allow more versatility, or suggest work arounds if any. Thanks.
