Anchor macro links not displayed as incoming Links in confluence

Problem Definition

  Incoming links: Lists other pages in your Confluence Site that have links to this page, or reference this page in an Include Page or Excerpt Include macro.

However if a link is added to an anchor point on another page the incoming link is not displayed. When a page is linked via the URL to another page in the instance directly it is converted to a Include Page Macro, were the Anchor macro is a standalone link to an alternate macro type, and the anchor macro is not referenced as an incoming link

Direct Page link will display in the incoming links:

Suggested Solution

Add anchor macro link reference support for the confluence incoming Links section

Workaround

add an additional link to the page when adding an anchor link referencing the base page link to display the page in the incoming link page
