      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      In KCS, there are article states (WIP, Draft, Approved, Published), and users are given authority to change status. Only certain people are allowed to change the status to 'Published' which then becomes accessible to customers. This is not possible in Confluence currently. There should also be an element of reporting possible around this to see which articles are in which state.
