The Attachments macro that users can place on pages shows all of the attachments to that particular page (rather than the user having to go to the Attachments page). By default, the "Show Previews" checkbox is checked in that macro. That macro uses the generic
{viewfile} macro rather than the appropriate {viewdoc}, {viewxls}, {viewppt}, or {viewpdf}. If an instance has the {viewfile}macro turned off then the user simply sees an error. We would simply like the ability for the "Show Previews" checkbox to be unchecked as a default to the Attachments macro, so that users would have to specifically check it if they wanted previews available to the user.
