Summary

Uploading a power point file that contains a linked object will not be able to be previewed if using Office Powerpoint Macro

Environment

• .pptx file

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have a power point file
2. Insert a linked object by Insert > Object > Create from File > Upload accordingly > Check the "Link" checkbox
3. Upload this powerpoint file in Confluence
4. Add 'Office Powerpoint’ Macro

Expected Results

The Powerpoint file is rendered correctly

Actual Results

Powerpoint file not able to be rendered, with the error:

There was a problem converting this attachment. Please create an issue at http://jira.atlassian.com

Adding the file as an attachment able to render the power point file properly

Workaround

Break the link by

1. From the powerpoint file > File > Edit Links to Files >Break Link before re-uploading
