Yes we have pages with inline comments scatter across a long page. Can Atlassian help on this, we can't move them into cloud either without losing the data in those pages.

Hi all - my name’s Steven and I’m the Product Manager that works on PDF Export. Thanks a lot for your feedback. As we’re continuing to improve this feature, understanding use cases like all of yours is super important. I recognize the frustration with this ticket - especially since it hasn't ever been responded to.

We are currently in the process of revamping PDF export to fix issues, provide additional functionalities, and refresh the user experience - this ticket will be taken into account as one of the highest voted suggestions. I don't yet have any timelines but expect to hear back on this ticket soon.

Specifically on the topic of comments we are investigating the user option to show/hide comments in the PDF export.

            Thanks again for your feedback.

            Cheers,
            Steven | Atlassian Product Manager

Any updates here? As mentioned by others already - this is essential to allow the usage of Confluence in domains subject to external (eg safety) audits.

This is definitely required for audit purposes.  It is disappointing that this basic feature has not been addressed 5 years after it was initially raised.

For many industries like medical devices, having this kind of visibility in a "printed" PDF version is essential for their quality management systems. Would be great if they moved everything online to Confluence, but it's an old, slow-moving industry. Without ability to export inline comments, you cannot really provide an adequate QMS in the healthcare space unless they go all-in on Confluence. Please help us and add this functionality!
