As a user, I would like to control which notification will be shown in my workbox

      Background

      Confluence allow administrators to control some of the content of workbox notifications for example, integrated application notification such as JIRA. However this option is not provided for the users.

      For example, some users such as developer team might relies heavily on JIRA notification, but other department might not. Hence JIRA notification could hinder these users to see the important notification.

      Suggested Resolution

      Provide workbox notification configuration menu in "User Profile" similar to "Email" notification configuration which is available now.
