Summary:
Have a permission scheme to have user accounts that are:
- Able to log in
- Have a "Read-Only" account
- Not counted towards the license
- License scheme similar to JIRA Service Desk's Customer account
Further Comments:
We are missing the option to run confluence in a 'semi' public mode. Fur is this would mean that the site itself is setup simular to the public configuration, but that we can have (unlimited) number of accounts that have read-only access.
We are putting up our documentation on a wiki based system which via sso is connected to our web-app. We would consider Confluence as the wiki, but the current licensing scheme would force us to buy over 2000 licenses, where as we only have about 5 editors. (And we are willing to pay a 'fee' to get additional read-only accounts)
A license scheme similar like the helpdesk would be really usefull for us. (Limited agents / editors, lot's of users that can create tickets)
