Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
We already can do a lot with keyboard in the Confluence editor. However, one thing that always bugs me is that I need to use the mouse to bring up the macro editor for a selected macro.
Proposal:
ALT+SPACE Could bring up the list of actions for a given macro (normally Edit/Remove). Then I need to be able to move in this list using TAB/SHIFT+TAB. A Following ENTER would execute the action. This behavior would be especially useful for macros defining their own action (status, team calendar etc.)
ALT+ENTER would instantly do the default action. In almost all cases this is bringing up the macro editor.
In normal cases this behavior would be enabled when the macro is 'text'-selected. One option to think about would be to also extend this behavior to the macro directly following the text cursor. Would remove the need to first SHIFT+ARROW the macro.
Please have a heart for our keyboard loving users and make it happen. thx!
