      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      On pressing the Open Link on a Shared Link Page in Confluence on Demand, the link opens in the same window by default.

      The attached screenshot details the "Open Link" I am referring to.

      How about making it default to a new tab / window.
