Is there a way to manage drafts within the edit in office plugin?

This plugin is great but generates way too many emails for us at the moment. We share files with suppliers and would like to know if we can save a document back to confluence without it sending out a notification straight away.

Most of the times, the user will work on the spreadsheet, save it but it is not necessarily ready for the supplier to pick up.

Are there any plans for a save and notify option? It is quite an important feature for a document management system.
