Every Atlassian application has different scripts formats and workflow. We should have a common format guidelines to make them consistent between applications.

This will bring us the following wins:

Sysadmins of Atlassian products will be able to configure any product in the same way, reducing the learning curve.
Some pages in the documentation (and also the KB space) would be valid for all products, making them easier to maintain.

I personally like the way the files are formatted in JIRA (and Bamboo) but we should agree in a common format.
