      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Comments are typically used to discuss questions regarding a document so it's very useful to be able to mark a comment thread as "Resolved" and make it hidden, just like it works on Google Docs.

      Otherwise the comment feed gets too cluttered pretty quickly and users have to navigate through old, obsolete discussions to find the relevant ones.
