NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding bug report.
**Current Behavior**
If a user imports a personal space using the Confluence OnDemand space importer, that space will become global.
**Workaround**
The workaround is to create a new personal space and move the imported content to the new space.
NOTE: If the user name is the same on the source instance and destination instance you will not be able to create a new personal space on the destination instance as after the import a space with that space key already exists
If this is the case, follow the documented fix here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+convert+a+global+space+to+a+personal+space+type+in+Confluence
Cloud Customers will need to file a support request at https://support.atlassian.com as the fix requires database access
