Atlassian Status as of September 2, 2014

We are pleased to advise that MS Office 2013 (Edit in Office and Import from Word) is now supported, starting with Confluence 5.6. Additional detail is provided in the documentation links below.

Office 2013 is not yet compatible with Confluence., and is already been used by some customers. Some specific feedback points:

Word importing (~~CONF-30442~~)
Edit in Office issues (~~CONF-30442~~) and Windows 8
