NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
We need a real-time fail-over or standby solution for Confluence. In the event that our Confluence server goes down, we need to be able to very quickly fail-over to a live synchronized copy of our production Confluence instance in another site. We cannot wait for a backup to be restored, as business would nearly stop if we couldn't access our documentation and client information. Additionally, as our Confluence database and files grow, the restore time would also increase.
I would like to see Confluence synchronize all data securely over the internet to another Confluence server running in another site. The secondary site could be accessed in an emergency using another URL.
