This is really fundamental when uploading images, which happens on 99% of the documents created.

+1 to this being a must-have feature instead of charging for it in the 3rd party marketplace.

I'm surprised this is still not available. I see there is the Sketch for Confluence add-on, but I would think something like this should already be included in the price of the product. The more I use Confluence the less impressed I am.

Would love to see this. Kinda shocked it's not there: images are an integral part of our confluence usage

This is a pretty fundamental feature to be missing from a documentation editor. Crazy to think this feature request will be 10 years old in two months.

            Hi all,

We've solved this, so you can edit, crop, rotate, and annotate images within Confluence with Sketch for Image Editing for Confluence

Seven years on, still waiting for the ability to crop and rotate images within Confluence Cloud.

Same here : doing a lot of copy paste from Google docs, and impossible for me to redo the crops as intended. I am frustratingly wasting A LOT of time ! please do something, this is so basic !

How is this still not a thing in Confluence Cloud?   or am I missing something here...?

This feature is fundamental, I am doing a trial on confluence. Migrating the documents from Google docs. But it seems really messy without the crop and rotate function.

Rotate Images plug-in is only available for Server. We're using Cloud, so no efficient or obvious solution exists. As far as my team is concerned, this should be a stock feature of Confluence.

Hi - this would be ideal for us. We're migrating from using Word as our primary documentation tool to Confluence. Users have become very used to the convenience of cropping and rotating images within the editor. Reverting to a separate image editor would be a huge step backwards and very time consuming. It just adds another barrier when trying to sell the idea to reluctant users that Confluence is the way forward!

            Hello,
The laser-sharp solution for rotating images in Confluence is CelesteCS Image Lossless Rotator.
It rotates images lossless, which means the image quality and file size are not changed. Additionally it can rotate images automatically based on EXIF orientation tag. Plus, EXIF data is not lost, so you will not lose the information, where the photo has been made, after rotation.
            Thanks!

Any chance to get this in soon?

I second Brian's comment! We use Confluence for technical and physical site documentation. We need to be able to rotate, crop as well as zoom in to a photo to see more detail.

Definitely - when attempting go make a page formatted attractively - it would save LOTS of time if I did not have to first open the images in some kind of editing software and re-save them - only to find that the crop wasn't quite correct and do it all over again - re-upload, etc.
Dynamic cropping and rotating would be huge.
