NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding bug report.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create page A
2. Create page B, a child of A
3. Create page C, a child of B
4. Apply Restrictions (E.g. view restrictions) to A.
So it should look like this:
A <-- restricted
|_ B
|___C
Now delete page A.
Expected: B and C should remain with in hierarchy with restrictions still applied.
Outcome: Restrictions are moved from B and C
If a parent page with restrictions is deleted, the same restrictions should be applied to the first level of children under the parent that was just deleted.
Tested and can reproduce in Confluence 4.2.x and 4.3
