wiki markup is no longer used for creating pages in confluence however if you want to create a page template you still have to write the whole thing in wiki markup. Furthermore since there is no more editor that lets you go back and forth between markup and rich text there is no easy way to preview your markup short of copy pasting from textedit to a wiki page, testing, goign back to textedit, making changes, re pasting, re previewing. yuck. This seems like a forgetten "relic" from Confluence 3 that needs to be updated. We started with Confluence 4 so nobody in our company is familiar with wiki markup...to have to learn it just for templates seems regrettable.
