It would be nice if there was a "Manage Watchers" permission. I'd like to open up the permission to more than just administrators and space administrators

[CONFCLOUD-25561] Add the ability to allow non-admins to manage watchers

Seeing a list of who is watching a page they created would be a popular feature for our users. They don't need to be able to add or remove watchers.

I am constantly sharing/email Confluence pages to people I think might want to see a new comment/change. Often they are already watching the page but I have no way of knowing without being able to view a watcher list (like in JIRA).

This would be really helpful for our organization. I constantly get asked for space administration privileges just cause our team leads want to add watchers to newly created pages. The struggle is that merely adding watchers does not justify the need for administration rights on the space.

It should be possible to have a configurable option that allows Confluence and space Administrators to set up a managing-watchers-capability for users, groups and spaces.

+1 for this feature. It seems to me that people should be able to at least see the watchers of the page, particularly if they have the ability to edit it.

adding/removing might be a little to much for a common user, but seeing a list of watchers should realy be possible to know how many ppl and who's getting informed about changes.
