JIRA Issues Macro render number fields differently than in JIRA

NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding bug report.

      Description

When using JIRA Issues macro in Confluence, 'number type' fields are rendered differently from JIRA. Instead of showing the value that is displayed in JIRA, it just takes the value straight from the database, and put it in to JIRA Issues macro. For example: If the number is displaying in JIRA with no decimals, in Confluence it will display a decimal.

      Findings

JIRA is using some vm template to convert the value that is stored in database that makes it easier to be read by end user. However, for JIRA Issues Macro, it doesn't do the same thing, hence, making it difficult to be read by end user.

      Workaround:

Change the number field type to test field type in Jira/or create a new text field type and use that for adding numbers greater than 6 digits.
