      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Right now the functionality of UNC file paths are quite limited. Also, it's not very clear for an end-user to understand that you need to create a UNC link via the "Web Link" option.
