It would help extremly to manage the disk space allocation of the data directory if it would be possible to apply an maximum number of attachment versions or by the maximum of file size in sum of all files.
Ofcurse an warning message would be needed for the user, so he is informed that he is going to reach the configured limit (2 versions before or 80% of maximum sum file size is reached).

In our case ther was one 20MB File that was 36 times versioned -> 720 MB diskusage only because one file.
Of curse some wiki's require such a big history list, so this feature should be configurable (number/size/on&off) in admin console. The file size sum limit has the advantage that it delivers a high number of versions on small files but a calculatable maximum for system administrators.

If this is not applicable CONF-5520 would be nice at least!
