NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
It would be nice if a site or space administrator could configure Confluence so that Change Comments are mandatory when a page is saved. With our enterprise deployment, we rely on Change Comments to allow "watchers" to easily understand the motivation and high-level content of changes. With Confluence 2.10, comments are optional and we're faced with a persistent user-training issue.

As a note: I got confused on the 'resolved' status here. This issue is not resolved, but timed out. An issue with a earlier number, but the same contents is CONFCLOUD-6373.
Would be better to have this issue marked as duplicate of 6373 instead of 'resolved'?
