Label management - renaming, merging, deleting

      I personally like the label rename functionality in del.icio.us:

      For instance, if I have 20 pages labeled as "diagrams" and another 10 pages labeled as "diagram", now if I want to standardize labels in my wiki to be in singular form, I can use the label manager to migrate all "diagrams" to "diagram".

      This should be a Confluence-level and space-level functionality.

            Personally I think this is a necessary tool. After writing over 300 pages in Confluence with thousands more to go, I'm having to deal with adding multiple labels to each one by one.

            I hope they consider this implementation to the product. I'm really disappointed that most features requests are discarded and Atlassian keep pushing us into paid add-ons. It is almost impossible to find a good free add-on for the cloud environment.

            We have recently made a free plug in Power Scripts for Confluence which you can download from the Marketplace to help automate Confluence administration, one of the features is bulk label admin. Here's the script:

            While this suggestion has gathered significant interest, we're unable to implement all of the excellent suggestions you make. We appreciate the benefits of such requests, but don't plan to work on this for the foreseeable future.

            For those customers using OnDemand/Confluence Cloud, you might try using our recently released addon, Bulk Action Tools:

            It allows you to manage labels on multiple pages, namely adding, removing, renaming, splitting, and merging. You can also use this addon to add/remove page watches and move/delete multiple pages at a time. You can find the documentation here:
