    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

We currently have SAML for Atlassian Data Center which integrate with supported Data Center application below:

      • Confluence
      • JIRA Software
      • JIRA Service Desk
      • Bitbucket

It would be more convenient to have SAML for Confluence Server.

      For Jira, refer to JRASERVER-28780

            [CONFSERVER-45634] SAML for Confluence Server

We can't see the project at https://getsupport.atlassian.com/browse/CSP-312490, can you provide more info or make it readable?

We use SAML2 SSO for most of our services, but confluence server is a huge security hole with only LDAP support (or crowd which we don't have).

But in 2020, please use OpenId. And not just for Data Center!

Agree, It's 2020 and SSO is very basic for any applications.

            Dear Dev team,

working as an System Administrator I am used that modern applications offer SSO via either Kerberos insight a Realm / Active Directory or via SAML out of the box.

I would appreciate that you implement this in a future minor release.

            Thanks in advance

This should be base functionality for both Jira and Confluence standalone server without the need for 3rd party plugins.
Jira and Confluence Data Centre and cloud products already have this functionality so it should be technically easy for Atlassian to implement this.

Must be default functionality of Confluence standalone Server!

            Hi Confluence dev team,

My company work with a shared SAML SSO (Ping one) platform where more than 500 users use collaboration tools.

It's very important for us to have Confluence integrated  with our SSO SAML shared platform since the number of users is be increased (250+) and is very difficult to send a URL link to all of them where to find the Confluence login page.

Without this solution the tool is not visible and not easy to be used.

Please update when the Confluence SAML SSO ping one integration will be avail.

            Thanks,

            Silvia
