Text not editable because it's outside page layout borders

      After saving a page confluence stores text on top or below page layout borders (compare the attached PNG screenshot). After that, it is not possible to edit the text outside the page layout borders.

      Workaround: create a blank page, copy paste all editable contents from the defective page to the blank page, save the new page, delete the old page.

            Hey Team

            This is still an issue in 8.6.2. we're on the hunt for a programatic work around for this one as we have lots of impacted pages

            I just experienced the same problem.  The proposed workaround would cost the entire page's history so I think it was given too low a priority.
