Synchronize entering JIRA issues via the JIRA issues dialog with capabilities of macro when entering via wiki markup

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Currently, there is a disconnect between the available options of the JIRA issues macro (see http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/JIRA+Issues+Macro) and the dialog that is presented in the Confluence 4 editor (CTRL+SHIFT+J or the

      {jira} macro).

      Options like the render mode (renderMode) are not supported in the dialog. Via wiki-markup they are and after I enter a {jira}

      macro successfully via the "add wiki markup" option, it becomes uneditable.

      I understand the reasoning behind moving to the new editor, but at least provide support for Atlassian's own macros. I rely heavily on these macros and this prevents me from using 4.0 in production at the moment.
