    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Steps to Reproduce
      1. Create a test Space and Page as the following hierarchy
        • Space
          • Home
            • A
              • A1
                • A11
                • A12
              • A2
            • B
      2. Assign a View Page restriction to Home. So all the child pages will inherit the View page restriction.
      3. Delete Page A
      4. Notice that child pages of A will become orphaned and will no more have the inherited View page restriction:
        • Space
          • A1
            • A11
            • A12
          • A2
          • Home
            • B
      Workaround

Move the child pages back to their parent, as for the example above, to be under Home. So they will inherit the same View Page restriction again.
