    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Currently, in Compass, when an alert is created for a component outside of a direct integration within the team, the team that owns the component is not automatically set as the responder.

      Current behavior:

      • You must create the alert using an integration that was set up within the team in order for the team to be assigned as responder.

      Expected behavior:

      • If an alert is created for a component, and that component has an owning team, then that team should be assigned as the responder automatically, even if the alert was not triggered by an integration created by that team.

This would make ownership more meaningful and reduce operational overhead. Teams expect to be notified of issues with the components they own, without needing to manage every alert integration directly.
